Text message support

We are happy to provide text messaging support to our users.
Our support number is (866) 957-0050. It is run by RentalMind LLC, the company behind the RentalMind software that rental managers use to run their business. You start the conversation and we reply. We never text you first.
How you opt in
You opt in by texting us. There is no form to fill out and no box to check, because we do not start these conversations. When you send a message to (866) 957-0050, that is your consent for us to text you back about whatever you asked.
We publish that number in two places, and you only see either one if you already have a RentalMind account:
- The Help and FAQ page inside the app, behind your login
- The onboarding emails we send after you sign up
We do not buy, rent, import, or collect phone numbers for messaging, and we do not text anyone who has not texted us first.
What we send
Answers to your support questions, one to one, from a real person on our team. Sometimes you will get a quick automated note letting you know we received your message and a human is picking it up.
No marketing, no promotions, no announcements, no bulk sends. If we ever want to tell you about something new, that goes in an email you can unsubscribe from, not a text.
How often
As often as your conversation needs and no more. Most support conversations run a handful of messages. When you stop texting, we stop texting.
Stopping, and getting help
There is no keyword to remember. Text us a question in your own words and a person replies. Three words do something specific, and here is exactly what you get back:
You text START
“You are subscribed to RentalMind support messages. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.”
You text HELP
“RentalMind support: text us your question and we will reply the same business day. You can also email support@rentalmind.ai. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.”
You text STOP
“You have been unsubscribed from RentalMind support texts and will not receive more messages. Email support@rentalmind.ai if you still need help.”
Reply STOP at any time and we will not text you again. Reply HELP and we will send you our contact details.
Opting out of texts does not affect your account or your support in any way. You can always reach us at support@rentalmind.ai instead, and plenty of people prefer that.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We do not charge anything for support.
What we do with your number
We use it to answer your question and to keep the conversation on file, so whoever helps you next can see what was already said instead of asking you to explain it again.
We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for marketing.
